Initial planning
We’ll review the layout, dimensions, and electrical requirements with you before you place your order. The Thermo Black requires a dedicated circuit and must be installed by a certified electrician—we’ll provide the complete wiring diagram.

Home delivery
The sauna arrives in flat-pack modules that fit together, delivered directly to the address you provide. We will confirm the delivery date and access route with you in advance.

You can install the Thermo Black 220 Plus yourself—we provide detailed manuals with step-by-step instructions. If you prefer, you can purchase Saunamo’s professional installation service, where our team takes care of everything. 02How long does it take to heat up?+
With the recommended electrical options for this model, the typical heating time is around 20 to 30 minutes. Since it has the largest interior cabin in the lineup, the actual heating time depends more on the choice of heater and the conditions of the space than it does for smaller models.
03Is it safe to use a sauna indoors?+
Yes. It is designed for indoor use, with thermo-aspen surfaces, 80-mm walls, 50 mm of mineral wool insulation, and an 8-mm tempered glass front. As with any larger indoor sauna, the electrical installation must be approved for the selected heater and the space.
04How long does delivery of the Thermo Black 220 Plus sauna take?+
1–2 weeks, if the model is in stock. If it is made to order, the usual lead time is6–8 weeks. We always confirm the exact lead time before finalizing the order.
05What kind of space is ideal?+
Measuring 2205 x 2200 x 2150 mm, it is best suited for an indoor wellness room, gym, basement, or dedicated home spa. Given its size, both the available space and the entire delivery route are particularly important.
06What are the electrical requirements for the Thermo Black 220 Plus sauna?+
This model can be configured with the following electric heaters: Aava 9.4 kW, Kajo 9 kW, Kajo 10.5 kW, Taika 9 kW, and Taika 10.5 kW. The electrical installation must be prepared for the selected heater and approved by a certified electrician. Saunamo provides the technical documentation for the model to the responsible electrician and helps confirm the correct electrical setup for the cabin, the space, and the final configuration.
07How does delivery work?+
It is delivered in flat-pack form, and given its size, planning access routes is even more important than with other indoor models. We need to verify the entire route to the building and to the final room before confirming delivery.
08Can I install the sauna myself?+
Yes. It is modular, but in practice many customers prefer to use Saunamo’s certified installation service, because it is a larger cabin designed for six people in a fully finished interior.
09What warranty is included with the Thermo Black 220 Plus sauna?+
It includes a 3-year warranty on the structure and components covered by the respective terms and conditions. If any covered issue arises, the Saunamo team will help assess the situation and advise you on the next steps.
10How do I choose the right heater?+
The recommended electric options for this model are the 9.4 kW Aava, 9 kW Kajo, 10.5 kW Kajo, 9 kW Taika, and 10.5 kW Taika. The interior volume of 8.49 m³ and seating for six people require a more powerful configuration than in smaller interior models, and we will confirm the final choice with you before placing the order.
